Thread tape on fuel fittings?

To solve a leak, can you use thread tape on fuel fittings?

Cheers

You can do it quickly. You can do it cheap. You can do it right. – Pick any two.

I had a leak on my fuel regulator and was recommended to use PTFE tape...

Don't know if it was right but I have had no issues with it and no complaints at SVA.

There is some fuel resistant thread seal in a tube which is the right stuff for the job. I wouldn't use ptfe for anything other than water.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
