Jet sizes

I have a set of Triumph daytona 1200 Mikuni carbs on my 1600 zetec can anyone recommend a main jet size for such a set up. According to triumph the standard size fitted is between 115 and 120. The car runs ok although not had a chance to boot it yet. Also it never needs choke when it is started.

The main jet size only really has much effect when you are 3/4 to full throttle, I think you will running rather lean with what you have. I suggest you start with about 150 or 160s , either drill them out or use weber Dgas/Dgav main jets. 2L engines use around 170s

Umm Amal GPs why did I ever sell them with my bike all those years ago.
