seperate starter and solenoid

Anyone know if there are any starter motors out there that will fit my Cologne v6 and have a separate solenoid? Space is a little tight around that area and if the starter didn't have the solenoid fixed to the side it would leave a lot more space!

Failing that - is there a small starter I could fit?

you could try turning the body so the solenoid is in a different position, afaik V6 starter mounting plate is diff to 4 pot ones

Also, if you do find an inertia starter to fit, you will probably have to change the ring gear too, as the two different type of starter throw the pinion in from different sides.
