Good feeling, isn't it!
You should be able to get a decent tickover on EDIS alone as the limp-home timing is 10 degrees BTDC, which most engines can use. You will find that
it will cough and splutter if you try to rev the engine, and it may overheat if you run it under load for any length of time - but you're not in
a position to do that yet, are you?
To begin with I'd use a timing light to make sure that the timing marks do show a nice steady 10 degrees.

ye it does idle bit but cuts out when trying to rev, will get the timing light on it tomo, the engine has been in bits for about 4 years so to hear it
run is a huge success for me!!
