vx redtop to ford g/box ??

Can anyone identify the below g/box?? (one on the right - next to a pinto bellhousing)
I bought it a while ago now from e-bay for £100
it was advertised as a vx to ford type 9 gearbox, but it wasnt until I came to do my pinto - XE conversion that I realised it wasnt!!!
first off the clutch cable hole is missing, then I noticed the bolt hole gaps are different, and the hole in the middle is of a smaller diameter than the type 9??
I suppose with a bit of modification it can be made to fit the type 9 (- I have even made a clutch cable bracket for it , that mounts to the engine block)
but i ended up buying another one from yukspeed!!
so this one is surplus - any offers u2u me
as to its correct ID I havent a clue , please feel free to reply !
may be going back on e-bay!!!

I am stumped.

if I were you, do a net trawl for pics of the cossie/mustang T5 gearbox (borg warner)

There is a bellhousing available to fit the XE to those, might be one??

Its similar in fitting to the type 9, but not the same, just like you pic!

It looks like it might be to fit the ford Type 3 /2000E gearbox they both use the same mounting holes.
