R1 98 carb issue!
Hi guys,
having bit of an issue getting fuel through to run cylinder 3 on my 98 R1 on carbs.
So far i have:
Drained the float chamber.
Cleaned inside, the main jet and the pilot jet.
Checked and cleaned the needle valve, float and the intake side.
Changed the diaphragm and checked the movement of the piston on throttle.
Removed and cleaned the pilot screw.
Swapped the coils and spark plug and all are ok.
Any more suggestions as i'm no expert?
Steven.

Hi Matt,
yes, still no joy, tried going through the manual today and i'm stuck for ideas now.
It must be no fuel as a squirt of easy start and it fires.

Are the idle screws set right? Are the carbs balanced? Are the float levels set right?
What are the symptoms?

Symptoms are that the header is not even warm. All others fire fine.
It fires in that cylinder when easy start is poured in but not with carb fuel.
