GBS BIKE CARBS FITTED

Finally got to run the car after fitting the bike carbs from gbs (robinhood) straight from the box apart from having the manifold coated and only adjusted idle

Sounds superb are these running with out any help?
What does it drive like through the rev range.

first press of the button without any throttle on it kicked straight up anyone with twin carbs will know you have to pump first then hold throttle on till it stops spitting and farting plus its a totaly different exhaust note
the pick up is emense we've been running 45's but when i ran it up the road it took me by surprise the thing exploded like a rocket i cant praise the carbs enough but ive got to sort another shut off spring for the race regs if anyone has any ideas

I was thinking of getting a set of these. What did you get the manifold coated in?

just powder coated black although it did need 5mins with the dye grinder inside it first

which fuel pump are you using?

have you used a regulator?

really fancy a set of these!

hi john we using a pierburg cant remember what model but its electric/mechanical runs a constant 3psi so no regulator needed £75
