Zetec valve guide seals identifiying
I am going to take the head off my Zetec and change tha valve guide seals and check the rings to try and solve the oil consumption problem I have.
I have a set of seals but noticed that there are 8 red ones and 8 green ones, I assume the colours donote inlet and outlet but dont know which is
which.

Not seen that before, would guess red being a "hot"color that its exhaust ?

Green is Inlet
I put an identical post on here last year and I got the answer that Green were the inlet side. So, thats how I`ve fitted mine.
