If it comes with full fuel lines then it will be worth more!

Not a huge amount.
After 80K the camshaft is U/S, as is the rockers and shafts. (the steel shaft wears the ally rockers, and you get iron filings embedded in the
rockers, and everywhere else.
The crank could well be OK, and the bores probably need a rebore.
As long as its not using any water. 3.9's have a Bore Liner issue and can leak. It should be worth a couple hundred tops.
Its probably worth more as bits.
The heads are the better ones.
At that mileage, you can say it is almost certainly in need af a total rebuild. which will cost the best part of a grand if done properly.
I spent £1600 on my 3.5, but then I did have a few nce bits as well. ie Viper hurricane Cam, Rhoads Lifters, Webber 4 barrel carb and manifold.
Mallroy Unalite electronic Dizzy. rebore, new pistons, all new bearings, crank job, new oil pump (Crazy not to when spending that kind of money).
Anyay... If you are buying I would not pay more than £150-200. and i would expect all the ancillaries as well.
Selling... well its what you can get for it.
Rover V8's are not cheap to rebuild properly.
With hindsight, I should have dropped a 4.6 in there, for not a lot more money. It certainly would give a lot more power, for not a lot of extra money
over the rebuild costs.
Just my 2 reils worth.
1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.
2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
Best Regards

Do what I do when selling stuff on Ebay, do it as a classified ad. Only £10 or £12 pounds, and it lasts a month and comes up in the searches.
I would also suggest giving it a good clean before taking the pics, seems to help the price.

I have bought 2 3.9's recently one was £50 complete with injection but without Electrics the other £75 as a long engine - both relatively low
mileage and in good condition - no black death under the covers which is the best indication of actual use.
What engine number? - some are better than others.
