Air Cleaners

I am getting to the stage where an air filter is required for my Fireblade. Looking at options I fell that a Pipercross sausage type filter is the way forward as they fit the limited space, are easy to fit and look good too. But looking at recent threads some say they are to noisy for sprints/track days and also a box with a cold air supply is more efficient, but it's much more costly. I do not want to make my own so what are your opinions, what I should buy?

I went with the individual socks, if they are too noisy then AB performance do a ram airbox which i was going to try.
DOnt know any Db figures bot Andy at AB seems really helpful when you ring up.

I've heard several times recently that the individual socks are quite restrictive to power. It's also mentioned in my Weber/Delorto tuning manual.

What about one of these with a cone filter on the end?
