mk indy blade
alreet there guys im thinkin of using a blade engine in an mk and just wanted to know how hard this will be and if i need to upgrade other parts etc.
any help would be great!

As above depends on what you're doing and skill level etc. However, the blade is probably the most common bike engine in the Indy and has been
done by loads of people so you should have no massive issues with tech help on here.

cheers. think im set on getting a blade engine but i dont have a clue on what running parts to use. so much f in choice!

The running parts are from a Sierra, and the engine is a Fireblade that's what an Indy blade is made from!
Which bit can't you decide on?

Asuming you haven't ordered your kit from MK yet, they'll tell you everything you need and will supply an engine cradle specific for the
blade.
I also bought my donor parts from them, so I didn't have to bugger about with a donor car - if you're going bike engined, you don't
need any of the engine, gearbox, prop, loom etc (prop wise your best bet is to get a TRT prop made for you - bit more pricey but it'll be better
and also balanced too)

sweet! that sounds good. i new it was the sierra and i know what a blade is but there is a few dif models of the sierra and i didnt know what one
would be best.

Have a read of the build diary on our website. It should give you some idea of what's required and how it all goes together.

MK will give you a list of of doner parts required and most builders, like me, have gone for the 3.62 diff.
