Zetec 1.8 + type 9 recipe (neaded)
say you will take a transversal Zetec 1.8 engine and transforme it to a longitudinal one with a type 9 gearbox.
I would like to know all the extra pieces we nead to accoplate them together with success. Plus how to make it.
Anybody who have made it (or simply knows how to) could tell?
many thanks

As long as its an Escort Zetec and NOT a Mondeo one.... all you need extra is a spigot bearing for the end of the crank, a DOHC starter and a Capri
release bearing.
Extremley simple to do.
Mondeo 1.8 is different story tho... beware.
