Exhaust manifold pictures please
Hi all,
I'm about to start making my exhaust manifold (I have a 4 into 1 collector and silencer) and could really do with some pictures of how its done
on other kits.
My aim is to try and get all four pipes as close to the same length as possible. I've been told ~800mm should be ok.
So if anyone has any pictures, could they post them please.

I think there is a specific formula rather than long and all the same.....think its been posted....

primary length should be
P= ((850 x ED)/rpm) -3
where rpm is the engine speed the exhaust is being tuned to, and ED is 180 degrees plus the number of degrees the exhaust valve opens before BDC.
Primary pipes should always be at elast 15 inches.
Also, for the internal diameter od the pipes,
ID= (square root of cc/(P+3)x25) x2.1
where cc is cylibder volume, and P=primary length in inches.
As for how its done, I have no clue

I think at the end of the day its to get the very best out of the exhaust, and the differences between an off the shelf example and a hand-built
'perfect' exhaust will be no more than 2-3 hp.
But, it makes all the difference. I think I will build mine when the time comes
