2.8i or 2.9i - Which V6?
Is there much advantage to be gained from having the later Ford 2.9i V6 lump over the 2.8i, or is the difference negligeable?
Thanks in advance,
Mart

Christ, where do I start?
2.9s good bits:-
Slightly more power, more potential for tuning due to three-port heads on the exhausts, better inlet manifold on the EFI, chain driven cam instead of
weird-arse plastic gears
That sort of thing. Even without these bits, the 2.8 is still a good (if rarther heavy) engine.
