R1 Sproket Nut

Anyone know what size nut i need for an r1 sproket or is it a main dealer item?

i cant remember what size it was, but i had one in my set of sockets, and i dont have anything out of the norm... just what came in one of my socket sets.. being japanese it is metric

The question is asking what size the nut is i.e. thread O.D. and pitch not what size of spanner/socket fits it.

At least that's how I read it.

My personal preference would be to contact your local Yamaha dealer and get the correct nut from them.

They take quite a lot of stress when on the bike so should imagine it'll be worse on a car - the adapter being pulled and pushed over ever bump, etc, by the propshaft.
