Locost Fuel Pumps
Looking for the locost way of supply fuel to my zx9r carbs (2.0lt zetec).
a zx9r fuel pump on ebay is around £40.
a zx6r seem a little cheaper around £30.
Seen a facet pump for £32 plus delivery.
What are the cheaper options??
Do I need a fuel pressure regulator?
Thanks
Mike

Any carbed bike pump will do, injection pumps are far too high pressure.
With the Facet, you'll probably need a regulator, something like a filter king, to drop the pressure to 1.5 - 2 psi, I have the low pressure
red top pump at 4-6 psi, which is a bit much for bike carbs without the regulator, so using a FK.

Any Mitsubishi pump will do. The problem with Facets is getting the pressure down and shutting off like the bike pumps do when the bowls are full.
