What size exhaust pipe?

Hi
Further to my exhaust welding dilemma.

Can anyone please tell me what diameter piping to use on the 4 branch.
I am going into a 2" silencer pipe
The engine is a standard 1800 pinto.
I was thinking about 1.75" but looks a little big to me.

Also what wall thickness?

Cheers David

If you are doing it in Stainless, then the if you use the 38mm you will find that if you carefully dress one end of the pipe to a box section, if will fit nice and snug into the oblong hole in the flange and then you just need to seem weld round the pipe/flange joint to make it a good'un.

I know 'cos that is what I did.
