Engine advice needed - please help

I've got the book, read the interesting bits and have possibly found a donor. Has anybody tried to build a Locost using a 86' Capri 2.8i.

It's complete, running but needs a replacement diff. Has a full interior and the engine is sweet. Is it a good idea to use this as a basis for a 1st time build and if so, what major hurdles am I going to come across ?!?

Well, I've used the good ol' Crapi, but I wouldn't advise it normally. You still need to source front uprights for your car, and that V6 is a pretty heavy lump.

Nothing stopping you doing it, and everything else is pretty useful otherwise.

GO ahead, assuming that the price is acceptable?
