plz help wit gear box
if i got a pinto 5 speed box would i be able to take the gears out of the v6 gear box and put them in the pinto//?

i dunno how gearboxes are stuck together inside but it doesnt sound easy...
whats the gist of the problem? you got a knackered box?

he had a 4x4 box, needed the RWD box. all sorted now paul? what car was the new box from?

1.8 deisl sierra and the shaft inside the box is long enough for the 6v engine

how odd. consensus was that v6 needs a gearbox with a longer input shaft then normal lumps. is the diesel one longer or are you just gonna bodge them
together anyway?

if the input shaft doesnt engage in the hole in the flywheel it will shag in no time. just cos it looks like it fits doesnt mean it engaged........
