Toyota to Ford bellhousing

Has anyone attempted to modify a Ford bellhousing to fit onto the Toyota 4AGE engine? or any other engine for that matter?

I am contemplating doing this and would appreciate any comments or advice.

Theoretically, it should be OK........................mmmmmmmm!

Also, is anyone willing to pass on outline dimensions of the RAW bellhousing as a guide? i.e. face to face depth.

Cheers.:o:o

Is that 4AGE to type 9 Sierra 5 speed, if so there is an alloy bellhousing manufactured to suit, all bolts straight on.

Thanks Beaufort, i know that RAW and some others do a bellhousing for this, but it is a bit pricey for what it is???

I am going to have a crack at it anyway, i have nothing to lose except time and effort!!

If it doesnt work, i can always go out and buy it.

Unless............

Does anyone have such an item, that they are willing to sell? If so contact me through U2U.

Cheers.

By the way, i am still looking for comments on the proposed.
