Clutch cable with an eyelet?
Hi all,
I'm looking for a clutch cable with an eyelet on one end to connect it to a pedal, and the other end must fit the fork of a Type 9 box.
I've been told a MkII Escort one has, does anyone know before I ask the local motor factors to get me one, and look stupid when it turns up
wrong?
Cheers
Graham
Website under construction. Help greatfully received as I don't really know what I'm doing!

Get friendly with you local AA man, he will have 'repair' parts to fit almost any cable by the side of the road (they get paid more for
doing that). he will have a loop end on the van with 3 grub screws to secure it to any cable for any application. You can use the correct cable for
your box and fit the correct end for your pedal.
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

Other option is Capri MK1 1300 which has a different length inner, can't remember if longer or shorter though!

For the price of a new escort cable i'd go for that, rather than mess about with adapting cables with screws etc. Only my opinion though.

I used 3.0 Capri cable. £2 new from auto jumble.
Seems to fit perfectly!
