twin carbs/ delortos - tuning

If i use an air flow meter on the carbs to balance them and then remove my exhaust manifold, is it possible to view the flame at night and tune the mixture of each carb to a nice blue flame ??

would this be just a rough guess or pretty close?

Same as using a colour tune perhaps..

Any suggestions or helpful advice plz...

cheers.....

I think you will probably end up pissing the neighbours right off.....

If the engine is running anywhere near right, all of the 'burning' will happen inside the cylinder.

As a starting point, screw all of the adjusting screws in gently until they bottom. Do not tighten, it may casue damage. Then wind them all out by an equal amount, say two turns. if the mixture needs adjustment, turn them all in equally to weaken, turn out equally to richen.
