Crossflow Head Thickness

Hi

Can any one tell me if 81mm is a sensible thickness for a crossflow head?

The below auction has one listed at this.

Can anyone tell from the photos if much porting has been done?

Thanks Blair

Without knowing the diameters of the ports it's hard to say.......but it does look reasonable . Be handy to know the valve sizes , and weather they are single or double valve springs .
Sorry - no idea on thickness

Its cuz I is blond , innit

head

81mm is good but I would be a little concerned vith the amount the valves are recessed into the head, could have been done to provide clearance rather than machining the pistons.
Porting looks good.
