gixer bods/40 dcoe manifold

ive got gixer 750 throttle bods mounted on a 40?dcoe webber manifold,i had to enlarge the ports a tad to get the bods to fit inside the manifold,i had an airleak for the millionth time today and the O ring popped out of the groove.
i noticed "nylex plates" on a webber dealers site, anyone know the ID of these plates or the OD of 750 bods or any better ideas for sealing them?
