Jim,
methinks he has a few little niggly gremlins to iron out first
I know that even though mine is running very sweet, I still have quite a few things to iron out before it goes for MOT

Cheers James,

Hopefully the sva man won't keep us waiting too long (must get the forms sent off), and I am prepared to fail first/2nd time.
Bits and pieces to tweek here and there, and to cover up all of the edges (for sva), and yep all being well in time for summer!
Cheers again James

I meant when you've finished each race can you send round the 20 people in the helmets and the flame suits who specialise in bolting cars together in about 10 minutes!
I'm not joking either- you would not believe how fast they can put an engine/gearbox into a car. It took me about two days to get mine in- especially as my crane has gone wrong!

Cheers,
James

... annoyed that last weekend was the build's 2 year anniversary and there's still just a pile of scrap on the floor...

Yes, I know how quick these guys work, and the plural is the operative word there, there is only one of you, please don't get disheartend.
We are all here to help each other, no one expects every one to know every thing, especially in the diverse skills, that have to be developed.
I remember talking to Conrod in depth very early in my build, and his knowledge of some things I knew nowt about, have proved invaluable.
Also remember that I opted for MK to make my chassis and roll cage, that saved me so very much in 'time' and in fact was far more cost effective for me to do that as I was only given a limited amount of time in a very well equipped work-shop, of which I had badly underestimated the amount of time needed in there. So I had no choice but to pull me finger out.
I got 'evicted' from the work shop a couple of months ago,and have had to do the 'finishing' at home. Thats the only place a lot of you guys have to do the complete build in and it ain't easy!
Chin up mate you will get there
