Bike exhaust cans
Now I know a few of you fella's are using bike cans for your exhaust.
What I'd like to know is the size of the inlet pipe and which bikes they come from? I'm looking at 2" to 2.5", any ideas
anyone?

I'm using a 2002 Yamaha R1 can, which has a 65mm (IIRC) pipe, regardless, it's fractionally under 2.5" . Word of warning though, the
link pipe is made from Titanium so you'll need to work out a way of interfacing it with the rest of your exhaust system which doesn't
involve welding (ti to steel won't go, it causes unbelievable levels of embrittlement - so much that it will crack right through as it
cools.)

65mm for me too, mine is a race can, stainless end with 4 bolt holes where I'll weld a plate to the end of the pipe ro bolt to the can.
Mark
and I think it is for a GSR 600 if that makes any sense?
