how much???

hiya all does anyone know how much a rover 5 speed with bell housing is worth? does £350 sound about right???? andy

Depends on a whole host of things. Is it an LT77 or 85? How many miles? Has it been refurbed? If it is as it came out of the car I'd knock off the £300

If it's an LT85, that's going to be a mighty interesting Locost, saying as that is a direct case change 4x4 box, not a remote change like the LT.

Also, £50 for an LT77 is very optimistic. You'll be lucky to get a shagged, incomplete, knackered eBay special for that.

Trust me, I found out the hard way...

I take it 350 is from the guy on eBay (footballgraham_007 IIRC?)? If so, walk away. It's a pressure washed "pull". I just sold a recently reconditionned LT77 without bellhousing for £175, and I felt stung, as I had my hand bitten off and money in my paypal account an hour after I posted the advert...
