Rarr - I need an ebay alarm on my head

Hi guys, really mad at myself, I've let an st170 inlet manifold get away from me for £39.99 on saturday, cuz i d*cked around and offered the guy £35 just to see what he said. And another on sunday went for £10! whilst I was assembling flat pack ikea furniture!

grrr...

use something like www.gixen.com i used it once when i was due to be away. or you can get ebay to sms you on your phone 1 hour before end and then you will get a reminder.

Sorry you missed out but god has a way of ensuring we miss stuff for a reason.....

Thanks

If you have a smartphone, the eBay app allows reminders for items about to finish.
I'm sick of 'em, me and the missus share an eBay account, and I'm sick of being reminded a pair of curtains etc. are about to finish

I wish god would apply that rule to me... no matter what I bid for, I seem to win!

I was sure this was going to be a thread started by you when I saw the title.

Sorry to be really annoying, but it was me that won that manifold! The £10 one was only the switching runner length bit, without the stub manifold and rubbers which I'm guessing is what you were after.

Do people actually trust sites where you have to input your IDs and passwords for such use?? Nothing on earth would have me putting my ebay ID and pass into a piece of software on a server that's unknown with unknown security!

I had the ebay app and took it off as it was driving me up the wall notifying me when anything on my watch list was about to finish Perhaps I should stop watching crap on ebay and only have stuff I might actually buy

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
