What colour is my block to be? You decide!
Well, after all of your much useful posts regarding which paint to go for ive now got to choose the colour. So...... for a bit of fun i've put
up a little poll up so you can decide for me.
Note that pink is not there, thats mainlly because i have no relation to Katie Price (AKA Jordan) what so ever .
Lets run this until end of play friday.

Heres my YB 205 block in red, now it was painted when I bought it and has a lacquer on top which is now beginning to peal a bit with use..
Heres a 2.0 pinto block with hammerite red on it, kinda has a pink shade to it tho..
Black or red on block if you were limited to that and use silver for the pulleys and bits..

Kids!
Edit: Thought i would add to this. What i said was " i dont care about your advise (being you Paul), i choose what advise i buy " This is
not advise, its a bit of fun...... you choose if you want to be involved. If you dont then dont post, leave you smug comments elsewhere. I wont be
lowering myself to your level so feel free to post a reply but there will be no further comments from me, this is supid.

Just going through this thought process myself. I'm going to go for burnt orange if I can find it in a suitable paint.

On my old Punto GT I went for a matt black block, Silver head and a Yellow rocker cover. I have a pic somewhere!!! Looked great..

personally red on a block is crap.
black or my usual blue would be my normal choice but the engine for my "self build" is kawasaki green.
these days its either a stock look or somthing that fits with the body colour.

I wouldn't paint it black, it makes it hard to trace oil or water leaks, if you have any in the future.

Brown...
...so when the paint flakes off after a few weeks the ensuing rust doesn't looks so conspicuous!

+2 .....great minds and all that
but a nice bright blue is just as good IMHO
but it depends on the colour of the car, with a black car you could get away with nearly any colour - even orange would look good
on mine I went for red as my car is blue and I'd rather have a bit of contrast instead of one uniform of blue all over...
my 205 block
and the bellhousing / alloy parts are silver
btw thats the red POR15 stuff, but I'd recommend a good undercoat first (the red doesn't cover very well direct onto the cast iron )
