Fitting 1600cvh to type 2 gearbox

Hi guys hope you can help me . In the summer I bought a locost with escort running gear . Now the time has come to up the power.so I bought a cvh1600 when I got it home I stripped the engine down an decided to regrind the crank an fit new shells .had the engine bored out to plus 40thou . It also has stage 2 head and a piper285 cam .with a veriner pulley. Along with twin dellortos . Now my question to you guys is has anyone done this mod . Having trouble with clutches if any what clutch plate can I use an do you have to change the spigot . I really don't want to go to type 9 box means a whole lot more work an dare I say money. Any info on this would be great. Cheers.

You need.

Clutch plate diameter, input shaft spline dims and a QH book. Look in there with these two numbers and you'll find the plate you're looking for. Probably a 1.6 Sierra though.

A 1.4 cvh flywheel should let you use the existing xflo to type2 clutch.
