Zetec water temp sender

I need one of these as I forgot to remove it from my pinto before flogging it :-(
http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p1374/TELEMETRIX-WATER-TEMPERATURE-SENDER-1/8NPT/product_info.html

My question is where do I fit it to my zetec black top?
Is there one fitted to the zetec already? (I'm using original thermostat) that I could use??
Cheers Lewis.

On my thermostat housing there is a 1/8npt under the housing below the bypass outlet. On some its threaded and others are blanked off, not sure which ones though.

Should be one already fitted in the thermostat housing. It is hard to see as it is underneath. If required you can change it for a different one if the thread is the same. Remember it will need an earth as the body is plastic.

My blacktop thermo housing was blocked off at the bottom, got one off a silver top as the have the npt one underneath.

Just a side note go nice and easy on torx bolts at the bottom of the housing as the housing can leak when the o ring perishes between the housing and head and cause the torx bolts to corrode.got mine out just going back and forth tiny amount, about 45 mins! But came out in one piece ,would be a nightmare if they snapped.

Head to Housing Seal 1135946 £1.24 1 needed
o-Ring for thermostat 1092262 £1.23 1 needed
Torx Screw 1097036 £0.73 3 needed
Front Housing 1109329 £17.34 1 needed

Just thought you may need the part number of the o ring if you're taking the thermo housing off to swap. This what I needed you may only need the first part.

Cheers

Rich

That link doesn't work, think its looking for items in your basket, however if your thinking about using the top one it will work but you wont have any warm up temp,it'll only when the thermo stat opens that you'll start the get a display, this may not bother you, just thought I'd mention it if that's what you're planning.
