Advice RST engine to type 9

Hi guys,

I'm rebuilding a series 1 Dutton Phaeton. I have got a series 1 Escort RST engine I am fitting. I know a type 9 box will bolt straight up to the block but what flywheel/clutch/release bearing will I need to use? starter motor?

Also I presume I am going to need to baffle the sump as it is designed to be in a fwd car?

Any advice appreciated. Cheers

Think I may have found the info. I've read somewhere that I will need a 1.8 cvh flywheel, clutch and release bearing

And also the starter motor from the 1.8 as they are different to the pinto ones

Theres plenty turn zetecs round and don't bother with baffles in the sump, although its not a bad idea if its not a major hurdle.
