Engine Type

Just got my VIN plate from the tinternet today and not sure what (if anything) I should put in the 'Vehicle Type' and 'Engine Type' boxes?

Thought that Sports for the vehicle but don't know about the engine type.

Any ideas peeps?

Yeh, I agree with petrol/diesel, just as side note when I did mine it had a place for engine number, which I stamped on, wish I had put something like "As on Engine" as I changed my engine later on and felt I had to get a new vin plate, then couldn't get the same one which was a different size so the holes didn't match up etc. so a bit of hassle that could have been prevented.

Cheers

Rich

Thanks guys.

That's what I thought Rich, I didn't want to put the Pinto code and then find I had to change it later. I'll just put Petrol or Ford i think. (The next engine to go in if it happens is my 2l Zetec Blacktop).
