No spark!!

Had a little rant about this last night but now need your help!

Couldn't get the car started and diagnosed fault as being no spark. Presumed as plugs, leads, dizzy cap and rotor arm are new that the sorry looking coil must have let go so changed that today, but no joy.

I have a 1.6 pinto with Dizzy and motorcraft amplifier, the original coil is a Lucas, the new one an intermotor.

Any thoughts on what could be causing my problem?

EDIT: I have had this running previously and I have checke rotor arm is spinning as it should.
