busa install advice. oil system setup
hi all. have stumbled across a guy selling loads of caterham hayabusa install parts form a record breaking championship winning busa setup.
basically i have;
SBD dry sump setup
bosch electric water pump
force motorsport hanbuilt exhaust (beautifuil and making good power)
arc motorsport gear linkage kit with all rods and bell cranks
mbe 992 ecu
quick shifter load cell which mounts to linkage for full throttle upshifts
adjustable fpr
i need a decent oil pressure and oil temp gauge but am unsure what type are the best and most reliable on a reasonable budget (say £150 for the
pair)
and also the best location and method of fitting these to the system? is there somewhere on the block for a fitting to houst these 2?
how do i go about piping the oil cooler setup to the dry sump pipework?
cheers!

I've just fitted a racetech mechanical dual oil pressure and temp gauge. It's a really nice gauge but you will need to get a capillary
line and T piece for the pressure side. You can put a T piece where the original pressure sensor is and if you look just above there is a blanking
bolt that screws into an oil gallery where you can for the temp sensor.

Hi Dan, I have found this on ebay for you, it’s a bit expensive but you would only need to find oil temp and you would have a budget of about £140.
Only joking Lol, it might be a bit fast for your build as it has racing pedigree being RELIANT. Bump.

Dual oil temp/pressure gauge?
So would a oil temp gauge just tee of like pressure gauge or does it need a sender in the oil galleries, also is there a gauge that does both.
