Post 95 zetec with 40's
What do you think, What are the chances of it passing the emissions test on the SVA

Slim. I take it you are talking about trying to pass the later cat emission test? I have heard of someone producing a cat to work with carbs but
suspect it would not last very long as it would be damaged by the excess fuel. If you really want a later engine fit injection (which I think is
easier than carbs!) or go for the earlier engine of which there are loads about and is easier to install and produce the same power.

Doubtless a repeat question but 'ow do I find out how old my Zetec is? Get the engine number and then ring a certain department within Ford or
troll down to T.C.Harrisons (local dealers) and ask them?
