Pinto dizzy
Hi there,
Having a moment so bare with me! I've got a bestec ignition kit for a pinto and was I wondering if it matters where the no1 cut out in the dizzy
goes. Basically if I put it in the position stated in the Haynes manual the leads coming out are really close to the belt so can I position it round
180 and obviously put the leads 180 as well so no1 lead is still over the cut out?
Got some pictures here.

Don't see an issue
Just make sure internal wires are clear of rotating parts

With the engine set to cyl 1 firing put the distributor in what ever position is convenient with the rotor arm still pointing to the number one cut
out on the dizzy body. That way you don't need to move the leads.
Never under estimate the ingenuity of an idiot!
