Engine bolt kit.

There have been a few posts on here regarding what length of bolts for ancillaries for zetecs and other engines.

When I rebuilt my S2a Land rover I was able to buy a bolt kit for the engine that included nice new inlet / exhaust manifold bolts and then standard bolts for various ancillaries.

Looking for my zetec engine I can't find where I could just buy a load of the standard bolts. I don't want to re-use the rusty ones that came out.

Does anyone sell packs?

I don't know of anyone who sells a complete "pack" of bolts for recon engines (namely Zetec). I think this is probably because no-one quite knows the extent of each persons' definition of overhaul.

I had silly problems with my rebuild, but I put that down to the fact that I've gone all out and replaced every part on the car with an aftermarket equivalent which is not always OE spec.

My advice would be to go down to the local Screwfix or fastening shop and just buy a box of various length M6 and M8 bolts (8.8 grade or higher), and anything more specific than that you can order ad-hoc when it suits from Burton/Ford (at a push) etc.. I did exactly this a while back with my Land Rover Defender, and means you've always got its lying around for the opportune moment.

NB - I think it was Paul Turner who enlightened me to the fact that all bolts in the Zetec should be metric (as standard) as well!
