Zetec crank sensor
Hello All,
I am hoping that somebody on this marvellous forum will be able to answer my technical query...... I have recently purchased a 2.0 blacktop Zetec
that was removed from a Mondeo automatic. I intend giving it a freshen up, new cambelt water pump etc but I have been informed that I may have to
change the crank sensor as I will be fitting it with a flywheel from a manual (1.8 Focus). Is this the case and if so what would be the part number
for the component in question....?
Many thanks in advance,
IanM

It's not the sensor itself you need but the alloy housing or bushing as it's also known.
I have a spare you can have for a fiver +postage or if you want a new one do a search and the part number will be around here some where.
Be aware to remove one on s scrap yard it s a great box and fly wheel of job to get at it.
