Dunnel Engine work Emerald K6 and remap results

Hello,

Just thought I would share the results of the engine, exhaust and injection work done to my 2ltr Zetec mapped by John and Dave at Emerald on Tuesday this week

221.3BHP and 178.9LBFT was the final result.

below is a video of the car on the rollers

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=654903401266926&set=vb.100002418162849&type=2&theater

And the graph looks like the below.

https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xaf1/t1.0-9/p403x403/10440657_10152583454301477_736591071989168731_n.jpg

I can't highly recoment the suppliers enough

Paul at Dunnel for there work
Matt at Simpson Race Exhausts
Dave and John at Emerald

All of them are very good to deal with and produce first class work.

Wow, nice figures. What's the spec of the engine?

Unfortunate dip at 4500rpm; wheelspin?

im another that's always impressed with Daves work and his ecus, great bloke, forgotten more than most mappers will ever know and very reasonably priced :-)
his rollers are more real world than many others too, whilst I cant say for sure his read 'right' ive found if I have apower run at another dyno, the other dyno reads more 'pub' figures so I suspect yours are conservative figures. As Dave says, time on the clock wins races, not pub figures

That's very good for a Zetec. Are you using standard size valves?

Thirded on the guys at Emerald, friendly, helpful, fair and generally great to deal with. Helped me a lot getting my Alfa wired up, running and mapped in.
Nice engine you've got there btw

Yes standard valves lapped and seated, so prob a 1mm or 2mn bigger if that really

budget did not go as far as big valve's
