sierra 3,92 diff
Having a clear out after moving workshop and got a 7" bolt on shaft 3,92 sierra diff and wondered what you all thought it was worth its open one
and not lsd , seen on ebay fpr over 100 but are they really worth that sort of money , but want it out of the way sooner than later

Not much I'm afraid, I have a push in 3.92 which I am struggling to shift, it is not a popular ratio.
Phoned the local ramblers club today, but the bloke who answered just
went on and on.

3.9 is a great ratio for quick getaway and with the Type 9 gearbox it's better than a 3.6 unless you have big torque

I've got a 3.9 waiting for me to fit it in place of a 3.6. much better ratios

3.92 is the diff to have !!! ....most popular for 7 type cars
I changed from 3.64 to 3.92 and it transformed my 205 BHP Westfield for the much better
Edit...I paid £125 posted for my 3.92 open diff, seems to be about the going rate
