one last zetec question

help...
i cant find the specs for the torque settings for the cylinder head bolts or the cam shaft cap bolts anywhere!!! maybe a focus manual but am a bit loathe to splash out 20chips for a couple of numbers. anyone?? pint in it....

just go and read one in halfords then do library's still exist?

tried waterstones (nearest thing to library/halfords in central london), but no mondeo/focus manual (lots of skoda felicia for some reason!).

Cam shaft cap bolts stage 1 7lbft stage 2 14lbft

cylinder head bolts stage 1 18lbft stage 2 33lbft stage three plus 105 degrees

Cylinder head torques are for unlubricated bolts, no check torque required.

Source Hayne's manual for Ford Mondeo.

Try 118118 and ask for the Ford Technical Hlpline, they'll tell you everything you need to know.

Or even try asking the nice Idian lady who doesn't quite speak English, who answers the 118118 call maybe she'll know. As they reckon they've got all the numbers.

cheers mix, sounds about right so guess ill give that a go
watwerstones gower street/torrington place. largest educational bookshop in europe app, but damn well havnt got the knowledge im after....
