Powder Coating Rocker Cover

Looking to paint my zx9r rocker cover and was wondering if powder coating is the best option. Not sure if the heat from the engine will effect the coating.

The powder coat will be fine, risk with coating cam covers/sumps/eng covers etc is shot from the blaster getting stuck inside.

If the cam cover has breather chambers etc that you cannot access by removing covers I wouldn't risk getting it coated.

Two of my m8's have had to have engine rebuilds due to shot being left in powder coated parts, one a cam cover and the other a sump.

I used standard spray paint on my cam cover. Gave it a good clean, primer, paint and lacquer. The engine heat basically bake hardens the paint so works a treat. Not had any issues with mine for nearly 2 years and with a little clean (grubby hands resting on it whilst working) will still show up nice
