clutch cable
HI FOLKS
I run a zetec with a type 9 box and ally housing but the nut won't pass over end of the cable to have ons
England each side of the housing any ideas etc or images many thanks Richard

Mine is the same on my ally bell housing for my Zetec SE/Type 9 install and also on my old Fury.
I think the theory is that the clutch cable is always under a bit of tension (from the spring in the pedal box) and therefore on the bell housing the
two nuts are to be used as lock nuts on the engine side of the bellhousing once you have adjusted for the right bite height.
Not had a problem doing it this way in the past but happy to be corrected by others if this is not right.

Clutch
Thank you for the reply but if there is load on the cable surely the thrust besring will tide on the clutch fingers

Both nuts should be on the opposite side of the bell housing to the clutch lever.
