Coolant sensor fitment
I am trying to fit a vdo 1/8npt coolant sensor to my k series engine which is m12x1.5 I have purchased an adaptor but the hole in it is not big enough
and I can not drill out as sizes are too close, also can not fit inline hose adaptor any ideas.
Thanks Matty

It will like be M10 usually you can just tap 1/8 npt with no problem, the threads won't be perfect but nothing Loctite Lock & Seal
won't make 100 perect coolant tight and secure, it has only to hold less than 2 bar. An alternative is to aquire a outlet elbow from a late K16
EU3 engine which have only a single coolant temperature sensor and drill and tap the unused blank on the undeside of the outlet.
