pinto freshen up

I'm about to put my pinto back together, what rings/ head gasket have people used. Burton have a range from economy through to performance. My pinto is DGAS Weber+standard cam so I'm not going for an all out screamer. Is it neccessary to go for performance items ?

Advice will be welcome !

Standard parts should be perfectly adequate for what you are doing. However you can get the parts a lot cheaper by using local motor factors rather than Burton Power. From memory I paid less than £20 for a complete headset which has all gaskets (inc head gasket) and a new set of stretch head bolts as well. You will also need a sump gasket set to complete the re-assembly, which should be £7-10 tops.
