Fitting Sierra push in shafts
Just a quick one... when fitting Sierra push in shafts to the diff, are the half shafts meant to 'click' into position? Mine don't
seem to want to do this, and just slide freely in and out on the splines.

That's how mine are I don't think they should click. They are held in by the uprights

Don't remember them clicking into position in the diff or the hubs. IIRC it's the hub nut that holds them in place. IIRC the torque
figure for the nuts is quite high as well.
I also recall that the near side and off side drive shafts are slightly different lengths as well so take care when fitting them. If you look at the
diff from above or below you'll see it's offset to one side.

Just slide in the cv's compress too, hub nut is 250NM torque.

The push-in inner CVs on the Sierra shafts do not have any locating circlips.
The shafts/CVs are just held in by the springs inside the tripod CVs pushing against the shaft.
