Accusump on Blackbird
Does anyone have any pictures of the way they plumbed in their Accusump to a blackbird engine . Seems some use the oil pressure switch location whilst
others have used the bung on right and side of engine and tapped it to take a pipe fitting .

Hello Craig
I pulled the steel bung off the end of the oil rail on my Fireblade lump, welded on a fitting then put it back on, you really want as much flow as
possible and this way the oil gauge will read true pressure. Teeing into the small hole where the pressure switch lives today is not really going to
cut it IMHO

Previous owner fitted an accusump on my old CBR1000F engine.
To avoid the 'small hole' situation as described above - he modded the adaptor on the engine.
As you can see - the small thread is only on the sensor itself :-
The bore on the engine is massive in comparison :-
So he had the adaptor drilled and tapped to accept a decent sized AN fitting :-
This has a fairly generous bore :-
Let us know how you get on anyway.
Cheers
Tony
