zetec oil pressure

does any one know the normal oil pressure for zetec ????? as i am running etb gauges and they read 22-90psi and the engine is running at over 90psi..
adz h zetec is the same do we both have a problem

my 94 2.0L zetec runs at 4-5 bar (approx 60 - 70 psi).

VDO gauge

60-80 psi once warmed up, never below 40psi on tickover. What oil are you using, I use Ford Formula E, standard spec for zetec., 5w-30w.

standard 5-30 the engine was laid up for 6 months dont know if this has caused a problem. where have you fitted the sender?

Where the oil switch goes. I wouldn't worry too much as long as you don't have the oil light coming on. in any case if the worst was to happen you can pick up another engine for less than a full gasket and bearing set.

If the oil pressure guage is electrical, please don't take the readings as gospel. Try with a mechanical guage first...
