TWIN 40 DCOE'S
Using an unmodified ex EFI 2.0L Pinto with twin 40's. Anyone out there with the same set up able to advize me on what size jets, emulsion tubes etc?
Will a mechanical fuel pump cope or should I go the electric route?

Hi Ian
What you need is this site. It's chock full of usefull info and even has a little program to download to select jet sizes for given engines. Brill.
Also has good articles on setting up DCOE's and DHLA's. Enjoy!

2.0EFI pinto
BEWARE that you don't get air leakage between inlet manifold and head.
2.0 pinto (Carb) has round inlet ports & most twin Weber manifolds are made only for these.
2.0 EFI pinto's have pear shaped inlet ports on head AND manifold to accomodate the injectors and the manifolds/head are NOT interchangeable.
If you want the EFI engine to go faster see about getting the ECU re-chipped!, and maybe an american 40/40 camshaft.
